Odin is one of a series of rockers drawn for First Act, an innovative company which produces musical instruments. This piece taught me a lot about using gradient meshes, and how to really take control of your mesh in ways that was never really intended. The guitar is a hi-resolution photograph, and the entire illustration, shading, coloring, and inking, was created in Adobe Illustrator. The final deliverable is a life-size print, arranged with an actual instrument.
